First Day of College

Ok I have to admit, I was soooo nervous for college to start. It came faster than I expected! But I was excited to have the chance for a new start in life. I'm enrolled in four classes (Mondays and Wednesdays) at the East Campus: Spanish, Math 86 (yeahhh one of the lowest ones haha, it's not exactly my best subject), Art 105, and Writing 101. I wanted to make sure I had enough time to get there so I left around 7:35. But my mom told me the wrong street, so I ended up going through two different school zones and through some random neighborhood. Yeahh I was lost. So I started freaking out and I called my mom. I ended up finding the right street and I knew where to go from there. But wow I wasn't off to a good start! That could have been bad. haha. so I still got there early, I walked around and looked at my classes again.

Overall, my spanish class seems like it will be bearable, my math class seems like I will do really good with that teacher if I pay attention (and plus they have really cool swivel chairs in that class haha) and my art class was a disappointment because I found out that it's more of an art history class so we won't be doing any actual art. My teacher even said that she can't draw stick figures. GREATTT! So that class might suck for me, but hopefully after that class I can take a REAL art class. K thanks! haha. and then my writing class will be ok I guess. There are some weird people in there, and this one girl who I went to middle school with and she wasn't the nicest person. Who knows, maybe she changed..?? But the teacher is a nice guy. So that's good :]

I don't have class until next wednesday because of the holiday on monday so i'm wayy excited I get a break haha. I had a lot of homework already. Like 7462764 math problems, I had to get a journal and write a journal entry, I had to finish this student conduct letter, register online for my spanish class so I can do stuff on the computer, anddddd I had to read 83282 pages for my writing class. I think I covered it all....But yeahhh overall it was pretty good :]]

So I was sitting at home watching Women on Death Row when the door bell rang. It was the guy from FedEx! You know what that means! My photography backdrops and stand! I was wayy excited to put it all together right away. So I grabbed the scissors and went to work :]

Finding Becca a House

Sooo recently we've been looking at some houses because i'm planning on moving out in about a year (we'll see how that goes) ha. but yeahh we've seen some nice houses and we've seen some gross houses. You just never know what to expect when you walk into someone else's house. But it was cool to see how some people decorated their houses. I got some good ideas. So it's a good experience. We looked at two houses that are very nice, but one has a huge backyard and we are pretty much sold on that one.

House #1- This one has a smaller backyard (obviously)..but it's still nice. And also the master bedroom is also smaller than the other house. But it's about the same size as my room right now.

House #2- I fell in love...with the backyard. haha. Unfortunately I would have to cut a lot of grass but it's worth it. And this one also has tons of pretty flowers already planted and a good sized shed. There is also a hot tub but we don't know if it works, because it was just kinda sitting there. Let's keep our fingers crossed for that one! I hope I get this house. We put verbal offers in for both of the houses and the owners of this one said they would think about it.

I'm soo sad to see the olympics come to an end. But it was fun watching the hotties while it lasted. Gotta love speedos ;]

Soo i'm hooked on Ebay, and I just bought these baby angel wings and halo for my own little photo studio. I just thought they were adorable, soo I bought them. mmhmm, but anyways I was excited :] P.s. I didn't take this pic...but it's cute though.

ALSO..I bought this stand and two photography backdrops..you know the backgrounds, one is a 10x20 white one and a 10x20 black one. I can't wait for them to come in so I can use them!! :]

Yeahh the people are kinda scary looking. I'm not quite sure that I would take pictures of chicks with white wigs but yeahhhh. haha. It will be fun!

Toys R Us

Sooo we went to Toys R Us to buy a gift for this girl at the preschool, and it just brought out the kids in us, well amanda is 14, soo she's pretty much a kid. haha. but it was fun until two "spanish speaking" ladies squeezed right by us and interrupted our picture taking. rudeee. but don't worry I said "Excuse You" for them :] someones gotta have manners. haha

So recently I just got back into doing art. It takes my mind off of things and it's my way to relax and express myself. The past two nights I have been working on this piece I found online. All I needed was my tracer, sharpies, colored pencils, and a lot of patience.
